Welcome to Hadley Technology Hadley offers student many technology exploratory classes throughout the year. Applied Technology is a required 6th grade class where students will learn Internet safety, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Photo Story. Lego Robotics will introduce 7th / 8th grade students to the exciting world of computer programming using robots. Lego Robotics will use computer, math and science skills to teach students to design, program, test and present fully functional robots that carry out life-like automated tasks. Students will learn how to write programs to make the robot move forward and turn, respond to sound and light, and all sorts of other functions. Web Wonders provides 7th / 8th grade students the opportunity to learn about creating and designing websites and podcasts. We will work individually and in groups to complete weekly projects in class. The goal of the class is to introduce students to different technologies and to demonstrate how technology is used in the real world. |
